Popular BBAU UG Courses

At undergraduate level, students can choose from engineering, business, commerce, science, humanities, law and other discipline-specific programmes. BBAU's BBA is a three-year programme with a published intake of 90 and semester tuition of ₹25,000. B.Com (Hons.) is also three years with a published intake of 90 and ₹15,000 semester tuition.

Choosing between BBA and B.Com

BBA is the more directly management-oriented undergraduate route and can suit students interested in marketing, operations, business development, entrepreneurship and management education. B.Com (Hons.) provides a stronger commerce/accounting/business foundation and can suit students considering finance, accounting, banking, taxation or professional qualifications. Neither degree automatically guarantees a job; internships, skills and postgraduate study can materially change outcomes.

Popular BBAU PG Courses

BBAU's postgraduate portfolio includes MBA programmes, MCA, M.Sc, M.A, M.Com, LLM and other subject-specific master's programmes. Admission routes vary: many programmes use CUET while selected skill-based programmes can have separate procedures. Students should read the 2026-27 PG prospectus for the exact programme they want.

PG comparison principle

Do not compare PG programmes only on semester fee. A ₹3,000-per-semester academic fee can look dramatically cheaper than a professional programme, but the career value depends on curriculum, internships, industry exposure, student profile and placement opportunities. The right comparison is total cost versus the outcomes you are realistically targeting.

B.Tech at BBAU

The current engineering listing contains five branches: CSE, Electrical, Civil, Electronics & Communication, and Mechanical & Automobile Engineering. Each is listed for four years, with 60 seats and ₹55,000 semester tuition. Class 12 PCM eligibility is required and the 2026 admission route is JEE-based.

BBAU Management Courses: BBA and MBA

At postgraduate level, BBAU lists MBA specialisations including Financial Management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Innovation Entrepreneurship & Venture Development and Defence Studies & Strategic Management, along with Rural Management.

Management students should look at the department's actual intake, curriculum, internships, recruiter mix and placement data. BBAU's NIRF 2026 management submission reports PG two-year management median salary of ₹15.135 lakh for the 2024-25 graduating cohort, with 74 students placed; this is a programme-category disclosure and should not be treated as an individual salary guarantee.

How Students Should Compare BBAU Courses

1. EligibilityCheck subjects and minimum marks first. A low fee is irrelevant if the course does not match your academic background.
2. Admission routeConfirm whether the programme uses CUET, JEE or a separate BBAU/non-CUET procedure.
3. Total costAdd hostel, mess, examination and other charges to semester tuition when building your budget.
4. OutcomesFor professional courses, compare department-level placement evidence, internship access and career roles.
