How to Get Admission to IIM Udaipur MBA

The 2026–28 domestic process followed CAT → mandatory IIMU registration → PI shortlisting → final merit list.

1. Meet eligibility and CAT thresholds

Candidates must satisfy the published academic and CAT requirements. The institute states that its admission criteria may be modified during the process.

2. Complete mandatory IIMU registration

Eligible candidates were invited by email after CAT results to complete mandatory online registration. This was a pre-interview requirement and did not itself mean a PI call.

3. PI shortlisting

Shortlisting used the CAT 2025 score and profile information including Class 10, Class 12, graduation, work experience and gender diversity.

4. Personal Interview

PI locations included Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and the IIM Udaipur campus. Candidates had to provide location preferences.

5. Final merit list

The final composite score gave 55% to normalised CAT score, 25% to PI and 20% to profile. Profile points were Academic 6, Work Experience 6 and Diversity 8. The final calculation uses the CAT score, not CAT percentile.
