About MBA Business Analytics

GEU offers an MBA with Business Analytics in partnership with Grant Thornton. The programme combines management education with applied analytics and contemporary data technologies.

Who should choose it?

Students who want an MBA career path but also want substantial exposure to analytics, programming and machine learning. It is a better fit than a general MBA if your target roles depend heavily on data-driven decision-making.

Eligibility & Admission

The programme is a two-year postgraduate course. GEU's MBA admissions information requires a bachelor's degree of at least three years from a recognised university. The university uses merit and its management admission process; recognised entrance scores may be considered under university policy.

Admission Process

Complete the online application, upload documents, pay the application fee and participate in the applicable assessment/interview process. The management department states that candidates with valid CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT scores may be exempted from the aptitude test according to policy.

Business Analytics FAQs

Do I need coding experience before joining?

The published curriculum starts with Applied Programming/Python and foundational analytics subjects, so the programme is designed to teach these capabilities as part of the course. Prior coding should still be treated as an advantage, not a substitute for learning.

Is Grant Thornton part of the programme?

Yes. GEU identifies the programme as MBA with Business Analytics with Grant Thornton as industry partner.

Should I choose this over a general MBA?

Choose it if analytics and data-led business roles are central to your career goal. Choose the general MBA if you want broader specialisation flexibility without the same depth of analytics coursework.
