MBA 2026–28: CAT result 24 December 2025; application 1 January–2 February 2026; PI shortlist 11 February; PI 5–8 March; final list 20 April 2026. 2027–29 dates are pending official release.

Eligibility Criteria
For MBA 2026–28, domestic applicants needed a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CPI; SC/ST/PwD threshold 55% or 6.0 CPI. Final-year applicants could apply. A valid CAT score was required.

The 2026–28 MBA process had two phases. Phase 1 shortlisted eligible candidates for PI using CAT, academics, work-experience duration and other criteria. Phase 2 used a composite score including CAT, academics, work experience and PI.

SJMSOM publishes a composite-score cutoff for PI shortlisting rather than a single “final admission percentile”. Applicants should therefore compare CAT performance with academic and work-experience profile.
Fees and Total Cost
Use the official batch fee schedule. The MBA fee is not just tuition; accommodation and institute charges may be separate. The current official admission material should be used for the 2027–29 figure once released.
