What is IIM Amritsar MSDSM?
The M.Sc. in Data Science and Management (MSDSM) is jointly offered by IIM Amritsar and IIT Ropar. It is a full-time two-year residential programme designed around data science and its managerial applications. The programme combines technical data-science learning with management exposure across the two institutions.
This is a very different proposition from an MBA Business Analytics: MSDSM is an M.Sc. programme with stronger technical/data-science positioning.
